Cultural Heritage Sites Database Training

  • June, 2018

In July 2018 CISP organized a training on cultural heritage sites database for the staff of the Somali Academy of science and arts in Mogadishu.

The database consists in 4 sections (architecture, archeology, natural sites and arts and crafts), and it will be filled by a trained team from the Academy. It will represent an important tool for Somalia in order to archive and protect its cultural heritage and it will represents the first step toward the ratification of the Unesco convention on World Heritage sites.
