Midnimo is 31 years, was born in the coastal city of Baraaw and now lives in Shibis District in Mogadishu.
He was introduced painting 5 years ago and has since been hired to paint murals and portraits for politicians and business people. He works at the Mogadishu airport in shop that sells souvenirs and artwork to expatriates.
Midnimo is passionate about peace and advocates for lasting peace in his peers. He is inspired by famous Somali
peace activists.He is now venturing to paint abstracts to show the destruction of the war.
